Both of these books ( see below for the other one) are of course translations. They are both collections of short stories .. .which is good, because if you don't like one, you can go on t the next one .... and it's also good because with a short story you get the satisfaction of completing something in a short time.
And don't forget .... even if you don't like Science Fiction, or any other genre of writing, it's still stuffed with grammar,vocabulary, idioms, tenses, subjunctives, imperatives, subordinate clauses, passive constructions, reported speech and all the fun of the fair.
Anyhow, here's some of the exciting stuff you can find in these ... and stow away in your dinky overstuffed brain so you can drag it out on a suitable future occasion .....
