If you whizz back a few posts you'll see that I had a go at making a Boggle set by studying closely an English Boggle set and seeing how the letters were distributed on the dice, then doing it with Spanish letter frequencies. After a few tries, it was clear that it needed a bit ot tweaking.... so I've done a bit of tweaking and have re-jigged the 16 dice .... so let's see how it works.... here's the first grid that my newly-arranged dice came up with .....
A D N I
N N O S
M A O T
E S L R
That doesn't look too bad ... you can get toda, son, sin, mesa, dos, non, sino, sol, los, onda, ton, roto .... can you get any more ?
Here's the next one it came up with ...
N U R L
A S P S
M D A U
I O E O
That isn't quite as good as good .. there's rusa, pas, sur, puedo, pua, dio, das, usa, nada ... no doubt you can find more.
Here's three more I made with the "updated" dice .... see how many you can find in each one ... I'm not really interested in the "competitive" aspect of Boggle, I just think it's a fun way of getting to find new words and reinforcing ones you already know.
L S O I M I I A V A S Z
L O E C E I A R O R E E
S E E S A C R T O A G A
O N E D O E A A H I L E
And now, music time looms ... here's Rusos Blancos with the rather "Los Planetas" sounding "Mono divertido" .....
me llamaste imbécil.
Yo te quise invitar a bailar y tú
me dijiste “no, gracias”.
Yo te dije que te quería y tú
“mejor búscate a otra”.
Yo te intenté besar y tú
me hiciste la cobra.
Es imposible,
lo nuestro es imposible.
Es imposible,
lo nuestro es imposible.
“Eres mono y bastante divertido,
pero aun así no quiero nada contigo,
seamos amigos”.
Tú quieres que seamos amigos.
Y es imposible,
eso sí que es imposible.
Es imposible,
lo nuestro es imposible.
Es imposible,
lo nuestro es imposible.
Es imposible,
lo nuestro es imposible.
